New Friendship United Church of Christ, on Turner Road, welcomes a new minister, the Rev. Arnold Lewinger and his wife, Jean, to the church and the community. Lewinger began his ministry at New Friendship on July 20.

Vacation Bible School at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ on East Holly Grove Road will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and continue until Aug. 7, meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening.
